Founded in 2003, Quidam de Revel began as a private archive — built from feeling.

It was born from a love for the overlooked: fastenings, linings, the anatomy of a garment.
Pieces arrived instinctively, kept for their presence as much as their provenance.

The name Quidam, Latin for “a certain someone,” reflects its posture: observant, discreet, intentionally undefined.
It is not about who collects, but what is preserved.

For years, the archive moved quietly behind the scenes — passed between those who understood its language.
Today, it opens itself with care, to a broader public drawn to the same instinct.

It evolves quietly.
It withdraws, returns, renews.
Always, it proposes a universe.

where we appear

The universe

Over time, the archive began to take different forms.

One lives in Paris — a space for exploring, for seeing pieces up close, for renting or acquiring.

Another lives in a mas in the South of France, where time slows and the archive settles: worn, arranged, lived with.

Quidam has long moved quietly within the industry — called upon for precise needs, discreet collaborations, or particular visions.
Today, it reveals itself more openly, without losing the care that has always guided its use.

Sometimes we appear elsewhere. A temporary opening, a shared moment, a place that fits.
Whatever form it takes, it follows the same instinct:
to preserve what speaks quietly, and offer it in ways that feel right.
